If earlier examinations “found nothing”, that does not mean there is nothing there. Here you will find orientation, exchange and support, on an equal footing.
You are not alone
Many people affected carry their symptoms with them for years and hear again and again that “there is nothing there”. That wears you down.
We are the network that sees the whole person. We explain in plain language which connections are possible, we bring people affected together and we help where an assessment threatens to fail because of the costs.
We do not treat, and we promise no cure. We inform, connect and support, neutrally and independently.
Guidance
No. When symptoms arise from the interplay of several areas, they can easily go undetected in individual examinations. That does not make them any less real.
The jaw system is linked via nerves and muscles to the head, balance and posture. This perspective is called CMD regulatory medicine (CMD: craniomandibular dysfunction). Symptoms may therefore be connected. Find out more under Understanding.
A connection between the jaw, posture and scoliosis is a possibility, but it has not been conclusively proven scientifically. We present it as a conceivable connection, not as a proven cause. [H]
It gives you an initial, neutral orientation in a few minutes, anonymously and without a diagnosis. It does not replace a medical assessment, but it may be a good starting point.
An interdisciplinary assessment makes sense. Further down you will find a neutral guide to what you can look out for.
That is what our support fund for hardship cases is for. Further down you can find out whom it is intended for and how to apply.
Exchange on an equal footing
No one should be left alone with unexplained symptoms. In our community, people who experience similar things come together and support one another on an equal footing.
Talking with people who experience similar things brings relief and helps to put things in order.
We are building a respectful community in which people affected share experiences, ask questions and support one another, moderated and without promises of a cure.

An assessment must not fail for lack of money. Our fund supports people who could not otherwise afford an interdisciplinary assessment.

The fund is financed by membership fees and donations. In this way, every contribution helps directly.
The association supports people; it does not refer to any particular practice or clinic and does not recommend individual providers. You are free to choose the healthcare professional who carries out your assessment.
Request supportProvider-neutral directory
Your symptoms are real, and you should not have to search alone. Here you will find trained CMD professionals, listed neutrally and by region. Inclusion depends on documented completion of a CME course run by the association, not on advertising.
Are you a healthcare professional and would like to be listed? The requirements are completion of the association's CMD curriculum and membership. Write to us; a listing is a quality entry, not an advertising slot.
This directory is provider-neutral and is intended for orientation. It names no individual clinic, does not constitute a recommendation of any individual provider and does not replace a medical or dental assessment. The choice remains yours.
Orientation
Because symptoms may arise from the interplay of several areas, an assessment that looks beyond a single specialty makes sense.
A healthcare professional who takes your symptoms seriously, takes time for the overall situation and, where appropriate, works together with other specialties, in the sense of CMD regulatory therapy or CMD systems therapy, which looks at the whole system rather than individual symptoms.
We deliberately name no names and no providers, and we do not disparage other methods or professionals. We provide orientation; you make the decision.
This information does not replace a medical or dental assessment. If your symptoms are acute or severe, please contact the healthcare professional treating you.
