We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG). The most important points are summarised briefly below.
Controller: Netzwerk für CMD & Skoliose Schweiz, Samstagernstrasse 57, 8832 Wollerau, kontakt@cmd-skoliose-verein.ch.
What data: We process personal data that you actively provide to us, in particular via the contact form (name, email, content of your enquiry), when subscribing to the newsletter (email address) and in the self-test. The self-test is anonymous in principle; if you request a result or leave contact details, we process these as well. When joining, the details required for a membership are added: form of address, first name and surname, postal address, email, optionally telephone and organisation, as well as the selected membership category, the fee and the payment method. When registering for a CME course, we collect name, practice, specialty, canton and email.
Visitor counting without cookies: We count how many people visit this website and show the number for the current week in the footer. For this we use no cookies and no external service. Your IP address is not stored: a random value generated anew each day, your IP address and your browser identifier are used to create a short check value whose sole purpose is to prevent the same visit from being counted twice on the same day. At the end of the day, the random value and the check values are deleted; only the count remains. Recognition beyond that day or attribution to you as a person is therefore ruled out. This is also why this website does not need a consent banner.
Search terms in the frequently asked questions: When you use the search field in the frequently asked questions, we record what was searched for and whether there was an answer to it. This shows us which answers we are still missing. Only the search term is stored, without IP address, without cookie and without any link to a person. Entries that could be personal, such as email addresses, telephone numbers or web addresses, are not recorded at all.
Purpose & legal basis: Processing takes place on the basis of your consent and to fulfil your request (answering enquiries, sending newsletters, handling membership and donations). Data is not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for processing or required by law.
Sending emails: For confirmation, evaluation and newsletter emails we use Brevo (data centres in the EU). The details you enter in our forms are transferred there. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time with one click (unsubscribe link at the end of every email).
Payments: We do not use any payment service provider. Membership fees and donations are paid by QR bill into the association's account. No card or account details are collected via this website; when you join, we only ask whether you wish to pay annually or monthly.
Member administration: We keep our members' data in the association's administration, separately from the other forms and exclusively for fees, invitations and communication with members. It is neither sold nor used for third-party advertising. As soon as we use external software for this, we will name it here before it goes into operation.
Hosting: The website is hosted by Infomaniak, a Swiss provider with servers located in Switzerland.
Retention: We store your data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purpose or as required by statutory retention periods. We delete enquiries submitted via the contact form as soon as the matter has been dealt with. Newsletter addresses remain stored until you unsubscribe. Documents relating to membership and donations are subject to the statutory retention obligation of ten years (Art. 958f OR).
Your rights: You have the right to access, rectification and erasure of your data, and to withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, please contact kontakt@cmd-skoliose-verein.ch.
This website uses no cookies and does not integrate any third-party analytics or advertising services. Should this change, we will state it here before it goes into operation.
